‘Technology Spotlight’ Submission Guidelines


International Fiber Journal’s “Technology Spotlight” column highlights outstanding innovations in the area of fibers, technical textiles and nonwovens. Submit your company’s new technology for consideration as an IFJ “Technology Spotlight,” and get recognized by decision makers working for leading companies who employ fiber-related solutions in their product offerings.

The “Technology Spotlight” column appears in every issue of IFJ (six times per year), on its companion website fiberjournal.com, and in the IFJ “Insider” eNewsletter. To submit your company’s technology for consideration as a “Technology Spotlight,” please provide the following materials:

  1. 100-200 word description of your company’s technology, explaining how it enables application improvements for those working with fibers, technical textiles, nonwovens, etc.
  2. 200-300 word description of specific capabilities of your company’s technology and how they represent an advancement over alternative technologies.
  3. Highlight 3 specific features of your company’s technology, with short descriptions of each feature.
  4. Please provide 2-3 visuals of the technology. Visuals could include photos of the technology in a live applications, the technology manufacturing process, figures or charts showcasing the technology’s performance, or glamor shots of the technology. All images should be high-res (300 dpi in JPG, TIF, PNG, EPS or PDF format) and include a 1-2 sentence descriptive caption.
