Techtextil North America featured 167 exhibitors from 16 countries and more than 3,000 attendees.

The fourteenth edition of Techtextil North America took place on June 20- 22, 2017 at McCormick Place – Lakeside Center in Chicago, Illinois.

This was the fifth edition of Techtextil North America hosted outside of Atlanta, which is held in the even years, and the first of its kind in Chicago.

The two in one event, co-located with JEC Americas’ Future of Composites in Construction, resulted in the largest technical textiles, nonwovens, textile machinery and composites show in the U.S. this year.

Under a generally positive global economic climate, the latest Techtextil held in May in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, was another hugely successful event with record numbers of visitors and exhibitors. The international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwoven, which is held every two years in conjunction with Texprocess, the trade fair for the processing of textile and flexible materials, together attracted more than 47,500 visitors – an increase of 14% over the previous events in 2015 – from 114 countries.
