Fiberpartner, an innovative leader in sustainable fiber technology, unveiled its latest solution PolyPlant at Techtextil Frankfurt in April. PolyPlant introduced bicofibers manufactured from sugarcane, representing a significant advancement in eco-friendly materials. Engineered with a core/sheath construction featuring a low melting point of 130°C (sheath), these fibers offer exceptional softness, elongation, and tenacity, making them ideal for various applications including airthough and thermobonded processes.

Certified as biobased materials, PolyPlant bicofibers underscore Fiberpartner’s commitment to sustainability and renewable resources. CEO Thomas Wittrup expressed excitement about this innovative development: “PolyPlant aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver sustainable solutions that meet the needs of industries worldwide.”
