KTC manufactures low-cost, bulk hydrophilic nanofibers for use in air and water filtration, reinforced papers, and hygiene applications. The company also converts these fibers into complex paper composites consisting of fine particulate ingredients and fibers without the use of binders or wet-strength additives. Such composites can be 50-90% solid particles with high permeability. Fibers can have positive, negative, or neutral charge and are generally 40-400 nanometers in diameter.
