The fourteenth edition of Techtextil North America took place on June 20- 22, 2017 at McCormick Place – Lakeside Center in Chicago, Illinois.

This was the fifth edition of Techtextil North America hosted outside of Atlanta, which is held in the even years, and the first of its kind in Chicago.

The two in one event, co-located with JEC Americas’ Future of Composites in Construction, resulted in the largest technical textiles, nonwovens, textile machinery and composites show in the U.S. this year.

Consumer wipes markets accounted for 56% of overall wipes sales in 2016

Demand for consumer wipes is expected to increase 2.5% per year to $1.9 billion in 2021. More than 80% of consumer wipes sales in 2016 were for personal care wipes, with baby wipes accounting for the majority of personal care wipes sales. However, given the maturity of the baby wipes market, the fastest growth among consumer wipes will be seen in sales of household care and other consumer wipes.
