International Fibers Group (IFG) launched its polyamide PA11 fiber. As part of the IFG Bio range, Rilsan PA11 is 100% bio-based, derived from renewable castor oil. The castor bean is a sustainable, renewable crop that does not compete with food and does not cause deforestation, while providing a lightweight and durable material.
The fiber is suitable for luggage, carpets, extreme sports and socks and underwear.
